Made a road trip to Tulsa, OK with several friends for the Starbird Rod & Custom show this past weekend. Had great time looking at some really cool cars and seeing some people that hadn't seen before. Doesn't matter what car show I go to, I seem to run into people I know.
Going to start of with a few cars that I found interesting and then at the bottom, there is a short video with all the pictures I took throughout the day.
As soon as we walked in the door, this C10 sat there. I had seen some pictures of it before, but they didn't do this one justice...

These next pictures are some of the Fine Nine award contenders. This is an award that is given at this show. This isn't all of them, just a couple of my picks.

These next pictures were of a vehicle that I had never seen, or at least the modifications, I hadn't seen. I will say, that I am really not much of a corvette person, but this one caught my eye.
It is a 2013 Corvette, with a 1963 Split Window body modification kit. And, I was able to talk the owner in to putting the hood down for me to take a picture.

There was also a display, celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the AMC Pacer. You remember those cars? They always reminded me of a fish tank...

This next car also caught my eye, but I am also not much of a VW person either. But this 1952 Split Window Bug is a little rare and is also right-hand drive!

Most people think that would be crazy, but this is one of those cars that I would buy if I could find the right one. I have always liked these, even before the movie that made them popular.

This next group of pictures was something really cool. This old COE truck was really cool, but the old Harley-Davidson Trike in the back of it was also really cool! If you don't know the story about these Harley's, and the relationship between HD and Ford, you need to look it up.

This last one was really cool too. And old International truck with 4 doors. It was in the Poppy's Patina booth and got to talk to the guy that built/owns it. Really cool build!

If you have never been to this show, it is really worth a trip. About 1000 vehicles in the building and there is a little bit of everything for everyone. Now, here is a little video of the pictures that I took.
