Started out this morning meeting up with some friends just a few minutes from the house before heading over to Cabot, Arkansas, for the 26th Annual Show & Shine at CabotFest, hosted by the Christian Car Club of Cabot.
This is another one of those shows I've attended quite a few times over the years. With the car show season getting close to wrapping up, it's always nice to have one that's not too far from home.
Our trip to the show this morning consisted of seven vehicles. If you've ever led a group of cars down the road, you know it can sometimes be a challenge keeping everyone together. But today was a good day! We all pulled into the show at the same time, found a spot where we could park all seven vehicles together, and spent the day visiting, catching up, and, of course, giving each other a hard time!

After getting registered, I cleaned up the C10 a bit, pulled out the chair, and took it easy for most of the day. Of course, I made a few trips around the show to get pictures for this week's car show coverage.
I also spent some time walking around with my new DJI Osmo Pocket 3 camera. I'm hoping this little camera will help us capture some better video footage and add a little something extra to our coverage. I just need to get a little more familiar with it!
I did manage to get some footage, but it may be a little rough around the edges, so bear with me while I figure this thing out!

This year's show was down a bit in attendance, but there were still more than 50 cars on the parking lot. It seems like that's been happening at quite a few shows lately, though.
One nice thing about this car show is that it's held in conjunction with CabotFest, the city's annual festival. Just across the street from the car show were the food trucks, and the food here has always been good. This year's BBQ beef sandwich certainly didn't disappoint!
The show wrapped up with the awards presentation, and we headed for home. Another Saturday spent hanging out with good friends, checking out some cool cars, and traveling the backroads of Arkansas. That's my kind of day!
