Holiday weekends usually mean a lighter car show schedule—and this one was no exception. But that didn’t stop me from getting out and enjoying a relaxing morning with good food, good cars, and even better company.
I kicked off the day by meeting some friends for breakfast at Hardee’s, one of my all-time favorites for a solid start to the morning. Let’s be honest—it’s hard to beat a Hardee’s biscuit!

Conway Cars & Coffee
After breakfast, we cruised just a few miles down the road to Conway Cars & Coffee, held in the parking lot of New Life Church. It was already warming up outside, but we showed up a little early and managed to snag a good spot in the shade.
I don’t make it to a lot of Cars & Coffee events, but I do catch this one a few times a year. While these types of gatherings usually lean more toward newer vehicles—which aren’t always my main interest—there are always a few standouts that grab my attention. Plus, this one still brings out a handful of classics and hot rods, so there’s a nice mix.
And like always, I ran into some familiar faces, which is one of the best parts of any car event.

A Solid Turnout
For a low-key event, Conway Cars & Coffee has built a pretty decent following. Each time I’ve gone, there are usually around 50 vehicles on hand, and it’s always laid back with a welcoming vibe.
Not every weekend has to be packed with big shows—sometimes, it’s the simple mornings with good friends, hot coffee, and cool cars that hit just right.
Until next time—stay cool and keep Kruzn!
