If you missed the Lil' Joe Cruise, you really missed out on a blessing.  We ended up with about 30 - 40 cars that came out to support Joseph Cox and his battle with VATER Syndrome.

Joseph and his twin, James, were born on April 10, 2006.  James was healthy and it was determined that Joseph had Vater Syndrome.  He has been in and out of the hospital his whole life.

To help this family out with some expenses, some close friends for of Joseph's grandfather, Duncan, decided that we would have a cruise to raise a little money and show some support for this dear family.

On April 12, 2008, about 30 - 40 cars showed up at Antioch Baptist Church.  There was food, music by Steve Evans, raffles, and some fine looking automobiles. Zach Harvey, a 10th grade student on hand doing some old school pinstriping.

Awards were given to some of the cars.  These were non-traditional trophies built from car parts.  Several of the trophies were also pinstriped by Zach Harvey.  After everyone enjoyed the grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, the cars lined up for a cruise from Antioch to Advance Auto Parts on Dave Ward Drive.  Conway Police Department was on hand to let all the cars get started together.

After arriving at Advance Auto Parts, there were 2 raffles, 1) $50 gift card from Advance Auto Parts, and 2) Mac Tools impact socket set.  Duncan won both raffles, go figure.

A check was then presented to the Cox family in the amount of $7000.  This money came from some of Duncan's friends on eBay, friends from Oklahoma(they made the trip Saturday morning to be at the car show and surprise Duncan and his family), and the entire proceeds from the car show.  Money has still been coming in, so the amount has grown to over $8000.
